The Litigator by John Grisham

This is the first John Grisham novel that I have read. Grisham provides an entertaining view of the anxiety filled, sometimes comical, up and down ride of the daily legal issues of a small law firm. It starts out interesting with the two different story lines. One story line is  of a young lawyer with a big firm, that feels suffocated  by the corporation. The other story line contains three characters; two attorneys that have lost their ethical morals, and their secretary that is just trying to make ends meet. The story lines flow well and there isn't a lot of over details on characters or settings. He gives you enough to paint the picture but not bore you and lose sight of the story line.
